I was just telling my
children a silly story I made up.
Children's Stories and Recipes with meaning
How it started
Early one Saturday morning our kids (waking up
entirely to early) hopped into our bed and started pulling us out
of bed, explaining that they were hungery, lonely, and needed our
attention.
My wife quickly assessing the situation said, "Maybe daddy can make
us some pancakes?" Followed by cheers and shouts of joy, our two
children dragged me to kitchen to make good on mommy's promise.
Smiling, my wife laid back down.
My children 3 and 5 years old at the time helped me make, their
"favoritest pancakes in the world!", and a tradition was
born.
As the kids sat down to eat their breakfast, I looked at my wife
(who had since woken up) and I said smiling, "The pancakes that
saved the world."
That very day I sat down and wrote The Pancakes that Saved the
World complete with a recipe for Buttermilk Pancakes.
I have since created a few more stories and recipes that I hope
will be fun for you and your family.
The storys and recipes are free (for now), as well as some audio
clips of each story. But that may change in the near future due to
many requests to sell them, so I can spend more time creating more
stories, recipes, and activites for kids and families.

I am currently working with illustrators to make these stories come
to life in colorful books at a small cost, plus shipping and
handling.
